An article about naturism that get’s it right! It’s not often that one reads something about naturism that is so simple yet manages to put the point across as clear as the one written by an unknown female author and posted in the Ventura County Reporter. The article Get naked, be happy covers an event where naturists gathered with the intention of returning Bates Beach to what it once was; a clothing-optional destination. The event in question has been covered in a previous article while Get naked, be happy, is about one reporter’s personal experiences while covering that event.
Her article concentrates on the myths of body image most people suffer from and the fallacy that nudity and sexuality need to go hand in hand. She ends of her piece with some philosophical questions that I feel cannot but make people who have a stubborn and unreasonable dislike for naturism think.
It appears that the things we love or hate most about others are the very same things we love or hate most about ourselves.
