Naturism Q&A is a collection of questions and stupid questions I’ve been asked regarding naturism.

Q: Just what do you DO there?

A: Normally the person asking this question is not actually interested in what really happens at naturist resorts.  What they usually want is for you to confirm their misguided suspicions about sexual orgies and indiscriminate encounters with total strangers.

Sorry, a naturist resort is not the place for you if that is the kind of thing you have in mind or are secretly hoping for.  But, if you simply want to enjoy the sunshine, socialise with friends and experience freedom as you’ve never experienced it before in a safe environment then naturism is for you.

This most important thing people participate in social nudity for is relaxation and fun.  Forget about everything that stresses you out, place yourself into a different environment to what you are used to experience in everyday life and breathe a bit. 

Communicate with people around you.  There is nothing like social nudity to help anyone get over a negative body image and learn to talk to people again.  Find out who you are again because when you’re naked all you are wearing is your personality.

Depending on the specific resort or beach you can do this while partaking in any activities that you’d expect to enjoy at a textile resort or beach.  Swimming, hiking, cycling, a leisurely stroll or simply doing nothing except recharging; the only difference being that people are more accepting, friendly and open.
